16 – 19 Female Football & Education Scholarship Programme
Future Pro Academy provides a two-year, full-time course for players who are looking to take their game to the next level. The course is open to players who are looking to develop their game and continue their education enabling the student-athlete to upskill themselves on and off the field of play.
This course aims to build upon sports skills and knowledge, develop transferable skills, and gain the opportunity to take your studies onto higher education. The balance of both football & education makes our programme unique and enhances sporting excellence to achieve success.
Student-athletes will study a variety of nationally-recognised qualifications within sport, coaching and fitness. The NCFE education programme is delivered by our Partners Juniper Training, an approved Centre for FE & HE education. Access to higher learning opportunities includes working with Loughborough Sport College / University and delivering a long-term athlete development programme with links to a first-team pathway.
Year 1 – NCFE Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma in Sport
Year 2 – NCFE Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sport
Where required students will study Maths and English GCSE or Functional Skills. To be awarded the Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma in Sport a student must achieve a minimum of 60 credits. To achieve the full Level 3 National Extended Diploma in Sport you will need to complete the 90 Credit Diploma in the first year and then top-up with a further 90 credits in the second year.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
NCFE Level 3 Diploma in Sport
Individual offers may vary; however, you’ll normally need 4 GCSEs Level 4-9, preferably one being English or maths.
NCFE Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sport
Individual offers may vary; however, you’ll normally need 5 GCSEs Level 4-9, including English and maths.
UCAS POINTS
Up to 168 UCAS points* available (equivalent to 3 A-Levels)
ENGLISH AND MATHS
You will still have the opportunity to continue to develop your English and Maths skills if you have not achieved a GCSE grade 4 in core subjects leaving school.
