Future Pro Academy



16 – 19 Football Academy Scholarship Programme

Future Pro Academy provides a two year, full time course for players who demonstrate significant football talent. The course is open to players who are looking to progress into the professional game and have either been released around the ages of 15-16 or who are looking to take their game to the next level and progress into the professional football industry. We also offer a third year programme for 18-19 year old's providing a full time Level 3 Personal Training programme or apprenticeship pathway.

This course aims to build upon sports skills and knowledge, develop transferable skills, and gain the opportunity to take your studies on to higher education.

Players will study a variety of nationally-recognised qualifications within sport, coaching and fitness. The programme is based in Warwick working in partnership with Racing Club Warwick FC and has excellent facilities including it’s own training ground and separate teaching and education centre .The BTEC / NCFE education programme is delivered by our Partners SCL, an approved BTEC Centre. Future Pro will deliver the elite football training on the programme.

Year 1 – BTEC / NCFE Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma in Sport

Year 2 – BTEC / NCFE Level 3 Extended/ Diploma in Sport

Year 3- Level 3 Personal Training Certificate (Year 14 programme)

Where required students will study Maths and English GCSE or Functional Skills. To be awarded the Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma in Sport a student must achieve a minimum of 60 credits. To achieve the full Level 3 National Extended Diploma in Sport you will need to complete the 90 Credit Diploma in the first year and then top-up with a further 90 credits in the second year. These will run as two separate courses.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

NCFE Level 3 Diploma in Sport
Individual offers may vary; however, you’ll normally need 4 GCSEs Level 4-9, preferably one being English or maths.

NCFE Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sport
Individual offers may vary; however, you’ll normally need 5 GCSEs Level 4-9, including English and maths.

UCAS POINTS
Up to 168 UCAS points* available (equivalent to 3 A-Levels)

ENGLISH AND MATHS
You will still have the opportunity to continue to develop your English and Maths skills if you have not achieved a GCSE grade C in core subjects leaving school.
