West Strikes Again!

A ruthless win from the FP scholars yesterday in the National League U19 Alliance sees them continue to close the gap on Tamworth in Division G.

The Racers Convincingly beat Mansfield Town 12-1 away, which is their record highest win to date in the league.

Back to back hat-tricks for Bradley West now sees his goal tally go up to 12 goals in 12 games including cup competition. West opened the scoring up yesterday with a great strike from just inside the left of the 18-yard box into the top right corner giving the keeper no chance of getting a hand to it.

Dan Purvin marked his return back to Brooksby Melton College, where he was a former Scholar at Mansfield Town FC, with a superb goal. Dan’s goal came from the racers quick build-up play from back to front, where Riley Keasey penetrative pass split the Mansfield defence apart and landed in the path for Purvin to drive in the box and slot it away to the keepers left.

Racing Club Warwick continued to push on and look for more goals and the next goal came from a great combination play from Callum Maspers and Bradley West, which seen Maspers get in behind the defence and cut the ball back to Tyrike for his first goal of the game.

Tyrike has now put his goal tally up to 10 goals in 12 games including cup competitions, with also getting a hat-trick in yesterdays game.

Special moments for first-year scholars Jordan Oxford and Beckam Whalley, Jordan who made his debut in the league yesterday and Beckham scored his first goal in the league.
