FP Scholars Return to Pre-Season – Weekly Roundup

The Academy returned for pre-season this week, in which we welcomed the new first-year scholars, the returning second-year scholars and degree students back to training.

It’s been great to see the new first-year scholars settling in well and adapting to the full-time training at the Academy.

The Scholars will have another week of technical, tactical, physical sessions & fitness tests before we begin our pre-season friendlies week commencing Monday 16th August.

This week saw Mark Muddyman announced as a new addition to the Future Pro team.

Mark brings a wealth of experience to the team with over 10 years of experience & holds both the UEFA A License Coaching Certificate & Advanced Youth Award.

Previous roles include working at: Birmingham, Watford, West Brom & Kidderminster Harriers.

Mark is also currently a part-time scout for Manchester United.

We are excited to have Mark as part of our team!

Racing Club Warwick Youth team played Racing Club Warwick U23’s in an internal match on Tuesday evening. It was fantastic to see so many Academy scholars playing across both teams and integrated into the pathway.

Good luck to Racing Club Warwick first team in their FA Cup Extra Preliminary Round match on Saturday against Stone Old Alleynians!
